It is the most prominent visit to Nera Networks s.r.o. in its almost three years history. The Nera Networks factory was officially opened in 2008 and is co-located with Eltek Valere.
The stop at the Nera and Valere production facilities was the only factory visit president Gašparovič made during his stay in the Liptov region.
The president was impressed with what he had seen during his tour of the production area.
"It is gratifying that in the era of economic crisis, you in Liptovsky Hrádok have managed to create 500 new jobs. The decision to build the industrial park and infrastructure can be an excellent example for other Slovak cities and regions that are struggling during the financial crisis," the president stated.
