Unparalleled pointing accuracy for high vibration environments
PointLink is a microwave radio system for use on moving rigs/vessels where the antenna is stabilized in one or two axes, azimuth or azimuth/elevation.
The antennas can operate up to 360 degrees depending on installation site conditions.
The accuracy is up to ±0.2 degrees. This is only a practical limit as the antenna beam width is taken into account.
The PointLink system makes use of Evolution Series™ microwave radios, ensuring reliable high capacity Ethernet/TDM traffic.
Mark II & Mark III
We deliver PointLink systems for 0.3 m, 0.45 m, 0.6m, 1.2 m and 2.0 m antennas.
- Mark III comes with a 0.6 m/2 ft parabolic antenna, and can be equipped with a 1+0 or a 1+1 Microwave Radio link system in all available frequency bands from 6 to 40 GHz. A version with 0.30 m/1.0 ft or 0.45 m/1.5 ft antenna in all frequency bands above 10 GHz is also available.
- Mark II can carry parabolic antennas with a diameter from 1.2 m/3 ft to 2.0 m/6.6 ft, in several frequency bands (depending on the antenna size).
